Malawi,
Africa 1996-1998
Here is the school where I taught English to secondary shool students.
The school was located in a rural village called Ntambanyama and the
student population was about 600 with 10 teachers.
Here are some of my fellow Malawian teachers and my Teacher in Charge.
This picture was taken at my farewell celebration, just before I left to
return to the United States in November of 1998.
Here’s Ntambanyama Day Secondary School and most of its 600 students.
Every Monday, before school, we would have an assembly to share annoncements
and to sing the national anthem, “Oh, God bless our land of Malawi . . .” The
building the students are facing is the school office.
