Hi there, welcome to my e-portfolio! I am in the process of earning my M.A.T. at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. As M.A.T. students, we are both in the classroom as well as in the field, working in local schools. I student-teach at Judson Middle School in south Salem in a language arts/social studies class and currently, I am at Myers Elementary School in west Salem where I work with a third grade class. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 1996, taught English in Malawi, Africa for over two years and then worked for a couple of different non-profit organizations in Oregon. The M.A.T program is challenging and I am really enjoying the balance of theory and practical experience.
